Five Oaks Farm Wedding
There is just something about a wedding that happens on the first day of the month. I love the symbolism in a fresh start, the beginning of something new. It may have been September for this Five Oaks Farm wedding, but the weather was still thinking it was mid-summer, but that did not put a damper on Joe and Felicia’s day! They celebrated their marriage with their closest friends and family, and it sure was sweet!
The very first time I met Joe and Felicia, we got together for dinner. I had every intention of treating them, like I do for all of my potential couples, but somehow Joe and Felicia ended up buying my meal! We went round and round trying to convince the other that we were paying, but somehow Joe prevailed. After that interaction, I knew that Joe and Felicia had such big hearts, and went out of their way to care for people. Throughout the entire process they were so kind, and I was so excited to be their wedding photographer.
This Five Oaks Farm wedding was made up of greenery and soft neutral colors that complimented this sunny September day perfectly. The Groomsmen were decked out in gray suits, and the groom wore a classic navy suit. A little fun fact about Felicia’s gown is that she actually had two to choose from! She ended up wearing one for her bridal portraits and this one for her big day! I always love when brides do something different/unique for their wedding day. This is my second bride this year to rock two different wedding dresses, and I’m not complaining!
