Our New Zealand Adventure
Just this last month, I went on the trip of a life-time with my husband and our family. Any guesses as to where we went? Okay, okay…. you’re right. I already gave it away! OUR NEW ZEALAND ADVENTURE. We started officially planning this trip back in May, and let me tell you – it was jammed packed. Between the five of us, there is quite an array of personalities so we ended up dividing and conquering on some days. Luckily, New Zealand is just as diverse, and has a little something for everyone. Although, it is an adventurous soul’s dreamland.

Highlight
The days were long, and there was a crazy amount of driving, but it was beyond worth it! My personal favorite thing was the white water rafting trip that Austin and I went on. I have been white water rafting several times, but this one definitely surpassed all my previous trips. We rafted the Kaituna river which included a 21 FOOT waterfall. Yes, you read that right. It was absolutely incredible (our boat didn’t even flip over, which happens about 50% of the time). Needless to say, we felt quite accomplished.
I could have easily spent another two weeks exploring the South Island of New Zealand, but I am so thankful for the time that we got to spend there. As the Kiwis say, sweet as.
