Dallas Newborn Photographer: Lakin Stearns Photography

For the squishy cheeks,

the reaching hands,

and everything you never want to forget.

READY TO CRAFT
YOUR LEGACY?

Let’s photograph the season
you’re living right now.

Let's make some magic

Your children don’t have to “behave” for us to make beautiful images.
.
In fact, I hope they don’t 🙊
.
I embrace the chaos, in fact - I welcome it.
.
Let them run and let them roam - your photos will have way more character if you give them the freedom to BE.
.
Mount Rushmore isn’t our goal over here 🤪 and if that’s your jam, I might not a good fit.
.
But if you get excited about the idea of having REAL, AUTHENTIC, and JOYFUL images then reach out now bc I’m your girl!
.
Oh and PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE don’t wait until November to reach out. 😉

Your family isn’t exactly the same as it was last year—so your photos don’t have to be, either. You don’t have to choose the same location.
You don’t have to wear the same kind of outfits.
And your session definitely doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s.Maybe right now looks like slow mornings at home, Saturday pancakes, backyard baseball, neighborhood walks, or piling onto the couch with the people you love most.Whatever this season looks like for your family, let’s photograph that. And please don’t be shy about sharing your ideas with me—even if they feel a little different or aren’t fully formed yet.
Or, if you know you want something that feels more like your family but aren’t sure what that could look like, ask me! I’d love to help you dream up a session that fits your life right now.Not what feels trendy.
Not what you think family photos are “supposed” to look like.Your real life, right now—because this version of your family deserves to be remembered, too. ✨#dfwfamilyphotographer #fortworthphotographer #theheartfulphotogs #lookslikefilm

“Just a mom” feels like a pretty incomplete job description.Today alone, I’ve worked in waste management, home organization, laundry relocation, magnetic structure construction, and Playmobil search-and-rescue.And my shift is apparently…never over. 😂What highly specialized position would you add to the mom résumé?

The number of photos on your camera roll isn’t the real problem. The problem is that no one ever gave you a realistic system for managing them.So every new photo gets added to the thousands already waiting—until organizing your family memories feels like a project you’ll never have enough time to tackle. But you do not need to organize every photo you’ve ever taken.Start with this week.Set a timer for 15 minutes. Delete the obvious clutter, favorite the moments that matter and make sure they’re safely backed up.Then do it again next week. That small rhythm is what keeps today’s photos from becoming tomorrow’s overwhelming camera roll—and eventually helps those memories make it off your phone and into your family’s hands.I walk you through the complete process inside my free LSP Legacy Photo System.Comment LEGACY and I’ll send you a copy. 🤍Save this post for your next camera-roll reset—and share it with a mom who has thousands of memories waiting on her phone.#PhotoOrganization #OrganizeYourPhotos #CameraRollOrganization #PrintYourPhotos #FamilyPhotoOrganization PreservingMemories FamilyLegacy DFWMoms

I don’t organize and print our family photos because I have the time.I do it because someday, my boys will want to see the life we shared before they were old enough to remember it all.The ordinary afternoons.
The missing teeth.
The favorite pajamas.
The way they looked at one another when they were little.I don’t want those memories to disappear into an old phone, a forgotten cloud account or thousands of files no one knows how to find.I want them to have a home. That’s why I created The Family Legacy Photo System—a simple, realistic process to help you organize, protect and actually enjoy your family photos without trying to tackle everything at once. It’s completely FREE and available tomorrow!#FamilyLegacy #PrintYourPhotos #FamilyPhotoOrganization #PreservingMemories #FamilyAlbums MotherhoodMemoriesDFWMoms
