Simple Newborn Studio Session
Tiny toes and little details make up my favorite things in this simple newborn studio session. This session was special because it was the third time I have photographed this family over the past couple of years. They are kind, loving & so much fun. Sweet baby James won the lottery with these parents and big brothers.
It is such a privilege to get to watch families grow and change over time. Little brothers become big brothers. Only children gain siblings. Couples become parents. All of those changes are monumental in people’s lives, and I am passionate about making sure those transitions do not go undocumented. I know that with those transitions come a lot of unknowns, exhaustion & sometimes chaos. However, I also know that entwined into all of the hard things are moments of pure joy, once in a lifetime moments, and moments that shouldn’t go undocumented.
Can I tell you a secret? I opted out of newborn photos when my son was born, and I regret it SO MUCH. I was so exhausted and consumed with trying to figure out motherhood that I was too overwhelmed to think about anything else. If there is a next time around, I won’t hesitate to book a professional newborn photographer.
