Fort Worth Newborn Session | Jax Bruton

This Fort Worth newborn session did not disappoint. Baby Jax was welcomed into a loving home with a really cool (and funny) big brother. I have no doubt that these boys will get into lots of mischief during their childhood, maybe even Mini (their Maltipoo) will tag along.

When Marlee reached out to see if I was available last minute, I was so excited because I had been itching to photograph another newborn. There is just something about in-home newborn sessions that get my creative wheels turning. I love getting a peek into their everyday lives, especially during such a special season. Those first few weeks are so chaotic and exhausting, so being welcomed into that is so special. It is such an honor to be able to document those first few days.

During these newborn sessions, I get a feel for everyone’s personality pretty quickly. Sometimes older siblings are shy and would prefer to go play and do their own thing. However, some are very interested in what I am doing, or even want me to take their photo. That was the case with Jax’s big brother, Johnny-Austin. He was immediately intrigued by my camera, how it worked, and why I was taking sooooo many photos of his baby brother. Needless to say, we became friends really quickly and by the end of it, he was helping me take these photos ;).
