A Classic Southern Cedar Hall Wedding
This Cedar Hall wedding took place on a sunny Saturday in July, and it was full of southern charm and gorgeous blooms. This bride and groom just might be the two sweetest people you will ever meet. I will never forget the email that I received from Chelsea asking if I was available to shoot their wedding. She was so confident in choosing me as their wedding photographer, and it was the greatest compliment. Ironically, Chelsea and I lived on the same floor during our freshman year of college (sadly, it has been torn downed – RIP Humes Hall). We did not know each other well, but we had definitely chatted a few times. So, thanks to Facebook, we kept up with each other, and I knew exactly who she was when she reached out!
We took their engagement photos on a gorgeous fall day last year, and we had the best time. If you missed their engagement photos, you can see those here! I remember asking them about their very first date, and I will never forget that story. Chelsea and Duncan went to a Drew Holcomb concert for their first date, and Duncan ended up falling asleep (how funny is that). Don’t worry though, he likes Drew, he was just tired. After spending an hour with them this past fall, I knew their wedding would be so much fun – and I was not wrong!
As you can see, this day was full of joy and lots of smiles! Their Cedar Hall wedding may have been the most relaxed, stress free wedding I have ever been a part of. From the time I arrived until the time that I left, there was no doubt that these two were loved and supported. My favorite part of their Cedar Hall wedding was the time they dedicated to communion and prayer during their ceremony. It was so beautiful to witness their two families coming together as one to pray for and encourage these two as they started their life together. So, here’s to y’all Chelsea and Duncan!
