Attention all small business owners, creatives, etc…

I want to let you in on a little secret: your content and your story matter to your clients and followers. I know, I know… you probably already had that figured out, but let me ask you this: have you figured out a way to highlight both of those all while keeping your brand consistent? If not, I know the perfect thing…A Branding Session!

So, what is a branding session? It is a photo session dedicated to showing off your brand, aka you, your passion, and what you stand for! I love branding sessions for a lot of reasons, but the biggest reason is the VALUE that they bring to your business. You are not just getting pretty photos of yourself that make you feel confident and proud (even though that is one benefit), you are getting so much more.

What Will I Get Out of a Branding Session?

1. Gorgeous photos that will make you confident.
2. A platform to showcase your brand.
3. Content for all your social media platforms.
4. A way to show your clients the “inside” of your world.
5. CONSISTENCY

Can we take a second to skip to that last one…Consistency! I mean, how many times have you looked at your Instagram feed and just shook your head? I know I have. Consistency is so difficult, especially when it comes to sharing my personal world in the mix of my professional work. I know you have looked at your camera roll searching for a photo of yourself that will match your feed. Let me guess, you have yet to find a good one. With a branding session, you will walk away with tons of photos that you will WANT to post.

Okay, I know what you are thinking…you are just a photographer who wants to take my photos. I want to hear from someone who knows a little bit more about branding. Don’t worry, I knew you would say that. So, I asked a client of mine who happens to be a Brand/Web Designer her thoughts on branding sessions, and this is what she said:

“There isn’t a better way to showcase your style and brand than a personalized photoshoot! Stock images are good, but a brand session gives you the opportunity to show how you and your business are unique. When I decided to invest in a brand photoshoot with Lakin, my engagement and bookings went up, and I know these photos helped attract my dream clients and capture their attention.”
