Airfield Falls Engagement Session
Brock and Lexi are getting married November 1st, and we celebrated the occasion with an Airfield Falls Engagement Session. This sweet couple loves to be outside, especially hiking. When I first met up with Lexi over coffee, she told me how much her and Brock liked to hike. She started mentioning places they were going to check out for engagement photos. I quickly looked up, nervously laughed, and said “I’m not much of a hiker, but I’ll do it for the photos.” She gave me and quick smile and said “Don’t worry, it’s more like a walk!”. I was relieved that she was not expecting to go on a ten mile trek up a steep mountain. We ended up with an Airfield Falls Engagement Session instead of the original plan, and I am so glad we did.
While we did not go hiking, I would have in a heartbeat if that is what my couple had wanted. You see, my number one recommendation for your engagement session is that you choose a place that means something! Sure, a pretty green field and blooming trees are gorgeous. Although, it is not nearly as pretty as a couple enjoying some place meaningful to them. So, while you are planning your engagement session put some thought into the location. If your first date was at a coffee shop, let’s go there! You love playing board games? Let’s grab Catan. If you love cooking together, let’s head to the kitchen.
The point is that you should do something that is special to the two of you. No one says you HAVE to have photos in a pretty green field. Choose something different, something unique. I promise you will be glad you did!
