My love for the Knoxville Botanical Gardens came about when my fiancé (now husband) took our engagement photos there back in the winter of 2016. So, every time I go back to Knoxville for a session I always suggest Knoxville Botanical Gardens to my clients! The colors in the fall are so rich, and the space is absolutely gorgeous. You can’t go wrong with the beautiful stonework, the wooded area, and the vibrant colors. When Jessie and I were planning her and Jacob’s engagement photo session, of course I suggested the gardens!
Jessie and I went to school together form kindergarten all the way through high school, our parents even went to school together. When you grow up in the little town of Strawberry Plains, you tend to “know” just about everyone. Every so often, there will be pictures pop up on Facebook of us on field trips or dressed up for Halloween. So, when Jessie reached out about photos, I could not pass up the chance!
Jacob and Jessie are getting married this time next year in our hometown of Knoxville, TN. I cannot wait to see what she has dreamed up for their winter wedding! I am still obsessing over her stunning green gown that she wore for this engagement session. She sent me a sneak peak photo before the session, and I just could not contain my excitement. So, if you are looking for ideas of what to wear for an engagement session in the fall, look no further. Jessie has given you the golden example – green and fur!!
If you want to see more sessions at Knoxville Botanical Gardens, check out Duncan and Chelsea’s fall engagement session from last October. Or if you want to see the gardens in the spring, don’t miss this One Year Photo Session (x2).
